Leja is Nigeria’s residential trust ecosystem. Leja Professional

Leja Professional is the platform for agents, property managers, and real estate organisations. You use it to manage your portfolio, add tenants, confirm payments, generate state-compliant receipts and agreements, and build a verified professional track record. Every action you take on behalf of a client creates a witnessed record — not just a file on your computer, but an immutable entry in the Leja ledger. Your Professional Record accumulates over time. The agent who has confirmed 500 payments on Leja has something no paper receipt book or spreadsheet can match: a verified, permanent history that speaks for itself when pitching a landlord mandate.

Resident

Resident is the platform for individuals participating in the Nigerian residential economy — as tenants, space seekers, service providers, or short-let guests. Your identity on Leja is anchored to your Resident Identity Number (RIN): a permanent, portable identifier that follows you across every property, every city, and every role you occupy. Your RIN accumulates three tracks of economic identity:
  • Track 1 — Residential Identity: Your tenancy history, payment record, and deposit status, verified by the agents and managers who confirmed each event.
  • Track 2 — Service Provider Identity: Your track record as a maintenance worker, cleaner, or other property-adjacent service professional.
  • Track 3 — Property Consumer Identity: Your search behaviour, viewing attendance, rental applications, and short-let stays.
No other platform in Nigeria witnesses all three tracks simultaneously. The compounding is the value.

Why it matters in the Nigerian market

Nigeria’s residential economy has always been information-asymmetric. Landlords knew more than tenants. Agents knew more than clients. Experienced actors knew more than first-timers.
