Track 2 is your professional identity on Leja. If you do property-adjacent work — plumbing, electrical, cleaning, estate management, property photography, or any of the other categories in the service marketplace — Track 2 builds a verified record of your professional history that no verbal reference can match. Every job you complete through Resident, every client rating you receive, every time a client books you again — these events accumulate into a professional record that belongs to you and travels with you.
Track 2 launches in Milestone Wave 3. The page below describes the full feature set that will be available at launch. You can claim your RIN and build your Track 1 residential history today at resident.leja.com.

How Track 2 builds

Track 2 grows with every service job processed through Resident. The process is straightforward:
1

Accept a job through Resident

A client requests your service through the Resident marketplace. Before you see their address, you can review their payment history with previous service providers — so you know whether they pay promptly before you commit.
2

Complete the job

Complete the work. If any issues arise, the Resident platform supports in-app communication and dispute logging.
3

Client confirms completion

The client confirms the job is complete and submits a rating (1–5 stars). Their confirmation is the witness event. This is what makes the record credible — it comes from the other party to the transaction, not from you.
4

Job added to your Track 2 record

The job category, completion status, client rating, your response time, and your completion time are all added to your provider record. Both your Trust Graph and the client’s Trust Graph update simultaneously.

What Track 2 records

Your total job count, broken down by category. Clients and landlords browsing the marketplace can see how many jobs you have completed in the category relevant to their need. A plumber with 47 completed plumbing jobs is immediately more credible than one with none.
Every completed job includes a client rating from 1 to 5 stars, with an optional written review. Your overall rating is a weighted average — recent ratings count for more than older ones. Ratings by category are also visible, so a provider who is excellent at installation but has lower scores for repairs can be seen accurately.
Repeat hire rate is the percentage of clients who have booked you more than once. This is the strongest signal in your Track 2 profile. A client who hires you again is not writing a review — they are voting with their time and money. A 60%+ repeat hire rate communicates something that five stars alone cannot.
Your average time from receiving a job request to accepting it (response time), and your average time from acceptance to completion confirmation (completion time). Both are visible on your provider profile. Clients prefer providers who respond and deliver predictably.
You can upload trade certifications to your Track 2 profile and link them to their issuing body — COREN, NIOB, a State Electricity Board, a State Plumbers Board, or any other recognized Nigerian professional body. Leja records the certification document, the issuing body name, and the expiry date where applicable.Leja witnesses that you have claimed this certification. It does not verify the certification’s authenticity — that responsibility and liability remain with you. If a certification is found to be fraudulent, the fraud is permanently flagged in your Trust Graph.

Service categories at launch (Wave 3)

Track 2 launches with property-adjacent categories — work that happens in and around residential and commercial properties. Maintenance and property care: electrical, plumbing, tiling, carpentry, painting, roofing, AC servicing, generator maintenance, borehole servicing, domestic and post-construction cleaning, pest control. Estate and facility management: security services, facility management, estate management operations. Real estate adjacent: property photography and videography, virtual tour creation, interior design, residential moves and logistics, furniture assembly. Residential utilities: generator and diesel management, water supply coordination, smart home device installation, CCTV setup, home network and IT support.
General gig economy categories — tutoring, childcare, catering, laundry, and others — are deferred to Milestone Wave 4. They will be added to the marketplace once the property-adjacent categories are established.

Verification for service providers

Before you can accept any job through Resident, you need to verify your identity.

What the marketplace sees about you

When a client searches for a service provider, the marketplace surfaces your profile with:
  • Your verification tier
  • Job count in the relevant category
  • Overall rating and category rating
  • Repeat hire rate
  • Response time average
  • Trade certifications claimed
The marketplace also matches on trust compatibility — clients with strong payment histories are surfaced to providers who have delivered consistently for similar clients. This means the better your Track 1 and Track 2 records, the better the clients and jobs you are matched with.
Your repeat hire rate is the single strongest signal on your provider profile. Focus on delivering quality work consistently and staying responsive — those are the behaviors that drive clients to book you again.
