The Architecture Statement

Leja is: Witnessed Leja Professional + Verified Permanence + Sovereignty. Residential activity is witnessed, permanence is guaranteed, and the ecosystem can understand itself.

Layer 1: Witnessed Leja Professional

What It Does

Roots claims in attested physical reality. A human confirms an event. The record reflects their testimony. AI scales the process.

Mechanisms

  • Human confirmation required before any event becomes a witnessed record
  • AI assists (extraction, fraud detection, anomaly flagging) but never modifies the record layer without human approval
  • Every event timestamped, attributed to the confirming party, linked to RIN
  • Record immutable at application layer from creation

Where Blockchain Fits: NOWHERE

A corrupt agent on a blockchain is still a corrupt agent. Blockchain cannot witness physical reality. This layer is human + AI, not cryptographic.

Where AI Fits: THE SCALE ENGINE

AI makes human witnessing viable at national scale by triaging submissions, flagging anomalies, and concentrating human attention on the 3% of records that need it — not the 100%.

The Critical Nuance

Layer 1 preserves attested truth, not objective truth. If a corrupt agent confirms a false payment, that lie is permanent. The infrastructure makes fraud permanent, attributable, and detectable. Not impossible. But this is still a massive upgrade over the current Nigerian reality where fabricated records leave no institutional trail.

Layer 2: Verified Permanence

What It Does

Makes records permanently verifiable without trusting Relvor LTD. Tamper detection is mathematical. Leja Professional records survive a Relvor LTD shutdown.

Where Blockchain Fits: THE ANCHOR — Non-Optional

Milestone Wave 2 — Individual Record Signing: Each witnessed record is cryptographically signed with Leja’s private key at the moment of creation. Leja’s public key is published permanently. Anyone can verify a record was created by Leja and not modified since. Milestone Wave 2 — Public Verification Endpoint: Every receipt has a QR code. The QR links to a public URL accessible without login. Anyone can verify authenticity without asking Leja. Milestone Wave 3 — Merkle Root Anchoring (Solana): Every 24 hours, Leja computes a merkle root of the entire witnessed record set and publishes it to Solana. This means:
  • Anyone holding a Leja receipt can verify it against the published root without asking Leja’s permission
  • If Leja’s database is silently modified, the published root no longer matches — tamper is mathematically detectable by anyone
  • If Relvor LTD shuts down, the published roots survive on Solana permanently — record integrity is verifiable forever
Outage protocol: If Solana is unavailable at publication time, the merkle root is queued internally with the intended timestamp. When Solana recovers, the root is published with metadata showing both intended and actual times. Outages create delays, not gaps. The integrity guarantee holds.

Where AI Fits: THE INTELLIGENCE LAYER

AI interprets accumulated witnessed records to produce trajectory-aware signals. A score is a number. The Trust Graph with AI is an interpretation of a person’s entire witnessed history with full understanding of direction, context, and behavioral pattern.

Layer 3: Sovereignty

What It Does

The RIN holder owns their identity. Leja provides the witness, verification, and consent rails. Consent gates all third-party access. Location is always approximate. Access is always logged and revocable. User consent transactions recorded on Solana:
  • Time-limited, purpose-specific, cryptographically signed
  • Revocable on-chain — not dependent on Leja’s database
  • The user has cryptographic proof of exactly what they consented to
  • Even under government compulsion, the on-chain consent record shows exactly what was authorized and what was not
Milestone Wave 1–3 sovereignty (database-level, essential from Day 1):
  • Consent gates all third-party access
  • Location always stored as LGA in queryable fields
  • Every query logged and visible to RIN holder
  • Consent revocable immediately in query layer

Where AI Fits: THE ADVOCATE

AI converts the Trust Graph from a passive record into an active advantage for the user. For every party they transact with, for every property they consider, for every service they need — the intelligence layer knows their full Trust Graph and acts in their interest.

Milestone Wave Summary

Milestone Wave 1 (MVP):
  Layer 1: Fully operational
